Aileen Gleizer is a social impact, management, and public health consultant with over 15 years of experience in the private, nonprofit and governmental sectors across domestic, international, and humanitarian contexts. She founded Mountain Strategies & Operations, LLC to offer consulting support to Montana-based and international organizations on strategy development, management and operations, communications/media, policy/advocacy, fundraising, and financial oversight.

- Represented Marie Stopes International and Merck for Mothers to decision-makers across the United States, East/South Africa and South/Southeast Asia on family planning, maternal health, and appropriations.
- Testified for Blue Mountain Clinic, Montana Abortion Access Program, and Planned Parenthood over a dozen times on abortion access and LGBTQ issues to the Montana Legislature.
Operations & Management
Leadership roles with domestic and global matrixed organizations including overseeing operations and financial management, supervising staff, leading strategic planning and communications, and fundraising.
- Served as the Senior Director of Programs and Operations Management with Save the Children, serving as deputy of a $230+ million health portfolio on a 35-person cross-functional team.
- Serves on the board and executive committee of the Montana Abortion Access Program providing leadership and oversight on operations, compliance, fundraising, and branding/communications.
Aileen Gleizer
In her past position as the Senior Director of Programs and Operations Management with Save the Children (global organization focusing on child health and humanitarian response), she served as the deputy and operations, finance, and communications lead of an over $230 million humanitarian health portfolio on a remote 35-person cross-functional team. She also worked at Marie Stopes International (family planning organization in 120+ countries) and Merck for Mothers (Fortune 50 corporate social responsibility program on maternal health) on advocacy, communications, and grant management and country office support. Her experience working across both domestic and international contexts including humanitarian response provides a unique perspective and technical expertise in nonprofit management, operations, health access and equity.
She currently serves as Vice Chair on the board of the Montana Abortion Access Program (Montana’s statewide abortion fund). As an independent consultant she provides services including strategy development, management and operations, communications/media, policy/advocacy, fundraising, and financial oversight.
